The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is designed to assist school personnel in identifying substance abuse and mental health issues which pose a barrier to a student’s success and to then implement a plan to help the student overcome those barriers. Compass Mark trains SAP teams, including teachers, administrators, guidance personnel, and SAP assessors.

Setting: Compass Mark offices or outside training center
Format: Brief and multiple-day training; consultation
Effectiveness: Trainees receive PA Commonwealth-approved SAP certification
