This training addresses current trends in prescription drug misuse and use disorders–including opioids, CNS depressants, steroids, and stimulants—and will look at demographics and factors contributing to our near-epidemic levels of negative consequences. Contributing factors will be addressed, including the role of the internet, co-occurring mental health disorders, and methods of obtaining and using these drugs will be discussed.
