Groups for Addiction Disorders

A wide range of in-person and virtual support groups are available for people with substance use and gambling disorders, as well as their loved ones. There are also many options for getting support for grief.

  • Recovery Road Online Fellowship (Gambling)

    Recovery Road Online Fellowship has virtual meetings for compulsive gamblers available every hour of the day. It is not affiliated with any group or organization, but is based on the original principles and traditions of Twelve Step Programs.

  • Al-Anon/Alateen

    Al-Anon members are people, just like you, who are worried about someone with a drinking problem. Family members have the opportunity to learn from the experiences of others who have faced similar problems.

    And Alateen is where teens come together to share experiences to find effective ways to cope with problems.

    The Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family.

    GRASP is a free, monthly group providing sources of help, compassion, and understanding for families or individuals who have had a loved one die as a result of substance use or addiction.
