Detox- Lancaster County

The providers in this section determine eligibility for county funding for detox, also known as withdrawal management, for Lancaster County residents without insurance coverage. They also accept Medicaid/Medical Assistance, commercial insurance, and self-payment. They are licensed by the PA Department of Drug & Alcohol Programs (DDAP).

  • Malvern Treatment Centers

    If you are a Lancaster County resident without insurance coverage & think you may need withdrawal management (detox), call Malvern Treatment Centers at (610) 625-8376.

    You will receive a short phone assessment & if appropriate, they will begin a detox bed search for you.

    If you do not need withdrawal management, but think you may need inpatient rehab, call and make an appointment with an outpatient clinic for an assessment and a financial liability review.

  • PA Adult & Teen Challenge

    If you are a Lancaster County resident without insurance coverage & think you may need withdrawal management (detox), call PA Adult & Teen Challenge at (844) 888-8085.

    You will receive a short phone assessment & if appropriate, they will begin a detox bed search for you.

    If you do not need withdrawal management, but think you may need inpatient rehab, call and make an appointment with an outpatient clinic for an assessment and a financial liability review.

  • White Deer Run

    If you are a Lancaster County resident without insurance coverage & think you may need withdrawal management (detox), call White Deer Run at (866) 769-6822 or email PaAdmissions@acadiahealthcare.com.

    You will receive a short phone assessment & if appropriate, they will begin a search for a detox bed for you.

Halfway Houses- Lancaster County

Also known as residential extended care, halfway houses provide treatment to people returning to the community from inpatient programs. Providers in the section accept Lancaster County funding, Medicaid/Medical Assistance, commercial insurance, and self-payment. All are licensed by the PA Department of Drug & Alcohol Programs (DDAP).

    The average length of stay is three to six months for those who have already completed primary detoxification and/or rehabilitation. Separate locations for women and men.
