Morning Webinar
November 8, 2022
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
NOTE: this training starts an hour early at 9am and is 3 hours! Also- it does NOT offer PCB credits.
This workshop is designed to consider the impact of grief, loss and transitions in our lives. Grief requires us to redefine ourselves. We must find a different way of being. Even when the transition results from something positive, what we leave behind leaves its mark. Grief and loss also have the ability to generate strong emotions like anger and regret that over time can make us unwell. Sometimes these strong emotions are triggers that unleash old behaviors. This workshop will consider our personal stories of grief, loss and transition. There will be discussions about the accompanying emotions and the opportunity to consider the benefits and the meaning of moving through these experiences. Participants will be asked to consider:
- The meaning and meaningfulness of grief, loss and transition;
- The beliefs we hold about grief;
- The opportunities for growth and joy as a result of these experiences.
Presenter: Marilyn Stein, MEd, CAADC
** There will be no PCB credits offered for this training. Participants will receive a certificate of completion upon request if they miss no more than 10 out of 180 possible minutes. **
