This course addresses the requirements for drug and alcohol screening and assessment of adults in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The required components of each tool, emergent care issues, screening options, level of case management determination, interviewing techniques and review of the DSM-V R Criteria for Substance Use Disorders will be covered.

- Introduce and review DDAP screening and assessment tools
- Skills review
Fee $20. 6 credit hours (PCB included, NASW available). Breakfast and registration at 8:30am; lunch on your own.
You MUST HAVE a DDAP training system account to register. Fee is waived for employees of SCA-contracted agencies located within Lancaster County.

NASW has been designated as a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education for social workers (Section 47.36), Marriage and Family Therapist (Section 48.36) and Professional Counselors (Section 49.36) by the PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
