The Lebanon County Commission on Drug & Alcohol Abuse is sponsoring the Lebanon County Recovery Summit, with a focus on addiction, faith and forgiveness. This event is open to the entire Lebanon county community, and will provide a time to come together, share and learn from one another.
1:00 – 3:30 Keynote Address: Dr. Joe Walsh “Forgiveness and Addiction: The Psychology of Letting Go”
There is a rich body of psychological literature concerning the role of forgiveness in one’s mental well-being and how forgiveness is distinct from pardon. Religious and spiritual approaches to forgiving transgressions will be examined as an exemplar of the psychological conceptualization of forgiveness and pardon.
3:30 – 4:15 Food, fun and networking
4:15 – 5:30 Panel Discussion – Led by Director Jim Donmoyer
5:45 – 8:00 Breakout Sessions

Admission is free. Anyone concerned about addiction in Lebanon County is welcome.
