This virtual presentation via Zoom by Compass Mark is geared toward the general public, and will provide information on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). We will discuss both the causes and effects of FASD, and dispel some current myths regarding these disorders.  Most importantly we will show that FASDs are 100% preventable!

Presenter: Josh Mountz, MEd, is a prevention specialist for Compass Mark. In 1998 he earned a BS in Ornamental Horticulture from Delaware Valley College and followed up with a certificate in Education in 2007. He also earned a Masters Degree in Education from Saint Francis University in 2014, and is currently working towards becoming a certified prevention specialist. He speaks regularly on the topic of gambling focusing on the area of loot boxes and adolescence. He also serves as a member of Compass Mark’s SAP training team.

One Act 48 credit for educators is available. Registration ends Wednesday, September 15th at noon.
