Schools are utilizing a range of programs to address the increasing academic, social, emotional and behavioral needs of students. While all schools are required to have Student Assistance Program teams, other multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)are being utilized as well. This workshop will focus on how SAP and MTSS teams can successfully integrate and align to meet the needs of our students. During the workshop we will address the recommendations for integration outlined in the PNSAS document, “Practical Guidelines for Exploring the Integration and Alignment of the Student Assistance Program with a Multi-Tiered Framework of Support” – readiness and planning, teaming, a common referral ‘process, family engagement, consent & confidentiality and data-based decision making and documentation.
There is no cost for the workshop, and three Act 48 credits will be provided. A Zoom link and materials will be emailed to all registrants prior to the workshop.
