The goal of this training of trainers is to prepare a local team of presenters on the Faith Partners’ Evidence-Based approach to develop and sustain addiction prevention and recovery support ministries/programs. COVID-19 lockdowns increased behavioral health issues and the important role of the faith community. As we come out of this pandemic this practical, interactive, hands-on, educational and experiential training will equip presenters to help congregations understand the issues around addiction and how they can be part of the solution to bring health and healing to families in our community. Upon completion, participants will be better able to:

  • Understand the Faith Partners’ Leadership and Team Trainings;
  • Demonstrate effective facilitation and presentation skills;
  • Describe the step by step process to institutionalize programming.

Presenter: Drew Brooks  is the Executive Director of Faith Partners and has extensive experience in developing congregational team ministries in prevention and addiction recovery.
